Piotr Stefański, Ph.D.
CEO, AI & Machine Learning Ph.D.
Holds a doctorate from Wroclaw University of Science and Technology and works with the Machine Learning Department at the Faculty of Informatics and Communication of the University of Economics in Katowice, where he actively teaches and runs diploma seminars. He specialises in image and video processing, object detection and neural networks, and is a certified Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect. At Edge AI he owns the vision architecture and the AI models behind Edge Scan.

The Edge AI team
Behind Edge Scan stands a team of around 10 people with very different backgrounds: industrial automation engineers, backend and frontend developers, AI developers and computer vision experts. A large part of the team was taught and trained by Piotr Stefański, PhD, and joined us for good after finishing their master's degrees.
